Neglect!

I know...I been neglectful here.

Here's your updates--I've rough cut the first twelve scenes of GOH. That's right, about 20 minutes of GOH in a row! All of the audio has been imported and cut into individual take files which--believe me--is one of the least fun things to do.

I'm probably going to cut a few more scenes before I pull together some clips for a teaser. We had been asked last month to be interviewed in Rob Long II and Frank Lama's Smash or Trash TV show, and they want some clips so I've been looking for some stuff for them also.

So hey, pretty soon you WILL see some stuff one way or the other.

We actually shot a big pickup scene this month at what I like to call "Murder Warhouse". The Baltimore Film Commission got us the location, but it was pretty scary. Not a good part of Baltimore. And cold.

But we got a lot done...

Here's some more random pics.
Richard Cutting and Danielle Lozeau before they learned to hate each other...
(it's a joke--everybody loves Danielle!)
(that's another joke at Richard's expense...)
 That is Dollhead Easter Bunny.

These are pics from pre-production when Jason Koch and Kaleigh Brown saved my bacon by coming in on short notice and doing a face cast of Andrew Ely.

Coupla Pics Courtesty of Joe Ripple

Fellow filmmaker Joe Ripple helped me out by taking some cool pics on set when he could make it out. I'll be putting them up here on occasion.

I have a rough edit of scenes 1-5 for GOH, and am pulling clips for a teaser.

Tonight though, we do a drunken commentary track for "Bounty". Our only wish, that Tom Proctor could be here with us. (Us being Me, Luke, Zig and Jared)

This picture is awesome--no FX were added or done to this picture. I don't know why she appears have demon eyes...a trick of the light.
Mike Hodge came out and suffered some serious long nights with us...
Wishing he'd said no when I asked him to star in the movie...

Happy New Year

Been busy with a number of things, and though I shouldn't be working on it right now with what else I have to do, I found myself compelled to do a rough-cut of the 1st five scenes on GOH.

Too early to talk about, but here's some random un-color-correct frame captures from the movie.

Have a great New Year's!

Okay, big pickups done...

So it was a crazy week. We went out in the 21 degree night and shot a fight scene with two actors who couldn't wear coats in the scene. (2 and 6/8 pages done)

I think they had fun, regardless of how much whining they did.

Then this weekend we polished off 13 and 2/8 pages.

One more big pickup(technically one scene, but it's like 9 pages and contains a big fight and 1 heavy effect) is all that's left to film. (though there's some wish-list shots that we may get if the stars align)

Not sure when we can get, but I'm working on a teaser--good news and bad news though; there's a deal on the table for my previous flick "Bounty", and now I have to go actually make the dvd supplements(Making Of, commentary)...and they're due in the next 2 weeks.

So the teaser may not be as fast as I'd hoped. Here's some pics from the pickups. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us out!

Judy Furlow as Dena. No, she'll be fine. 'Tis a flesh wound...

Okay, this is actually Rob Ziegler who wanted a picture in the bondage mask in our "Christmas" room.
This is one of the P.A.s who didn't move fast enough for Jared.

What? More Pics?

A side note...the new edit computer is ready for action. Today I actually start taking a look at footage. Kind of excited, but also pretty scared to see what we missed.

But me and Harvey Glatman got some tricks up our sleeve, so I'm sure it'll be cool.

Here, pics.

Superstar in the making, Danielle Lozeau, in a scene
where she completely surpassed our(mine and Luke's) expectations
Bondage masks can be fun. Hot, but fun.
Okay, really just hot. And creepy.
My favorite pic of the shoot.
I can't tell you what I'm doing here because it's illegal in 32 states,
but maybe if you buy me a drink sometime...
Richard Cutting as Owen, Carl Stevens as Leon, and John C. Bailey as Tom
Me and Rob Dimension, who was a real sport and
came out just so we could put his head through a wall. Repeatedly.

More Pics...

Know what she's saying while she dances this crazy jig of joy?
"I'm on a Kangas set! I'm on a Kangas set!"
Candy...Jared's future wife.
Kimberly Kerr getting her pole dance on.
Kaitlyn Huffman trying to conceal the feisty.
Jared, his Red, and his shadows
After Richard shot Jared, the production got back on schedule.
Lauren Russell showed up to be an extra, and ended up
being an integral part of the movie.

Posts to come, but first, some pictures...

The insanely-talented Danielle Lozeau, with some creepy dude watching her. (Frederick Cowie!)
Ryan Thomas, Lauren Lakis, and fish face. I mean, Jessy Danner.
Bet you wish you showed up to be an extra now, don't ya?
Leanna Chamish and Kimberly Kerr doing their best to make the men forget their lines.
My artist pal Rodger Schultz with Bob Haag and Leanna Chamish.
Barbecue on night 1, which was more or less a disaster.
The invaluable Noah Schaftel. This is the only moment in 2 weeks
he stopped long enough to shoot a picture of him...
Danielle and Lauren, reunited(and it feels so good)

The crew. They only look 12 years old. (They're really 16)
Lauren Lakis plays Liz, second movie in a row...
Bob Haag plays "Grant"
Jason Koch and Kaleigh Brown work on some FX for Jessy Danner
Bella in her dominatrix stuff
Visual embodiment of "splitting headache"
Heather England, one of the more gorgeous(and reliable) of the extras...
